Authors Jane Rogers and Gwendoline Riley read from their own work. Rogers has published eight novels as well as writing television and radio drama. Her novels include 'Mr Wroe's Virgins', 'Island' and 'The Voyage Home'. Riley’s first book 'Cold Water' was named one of the outstanding debut novels of 2002 by The Guardian. Her fourth novel 'Opposed Positions' is published in May 2012.
