World War Two: A Local Story
An exhibition that gives a flavour of the lives of local people during World War Two and looks at how the people of Bury and its surrounding townships came together in aid of the war effort. It explores a range of themes including utility clothing and furniture, the dig for victory campaign, German and Italian internees at Warth mill and the Star bleach works.
