In Our Own Words: Soldiers Thoughts from Afghanistan

Marking the tenth anniversary of the start of the war in Afghanistan, this exhibition looks at the thoughts of soldiers from the front line. This powerful display provides unique insight into individual experiences on the front line of a contemporary conflict. From the remarkable to the mundane, soldiers from 16 Air Assault Brigade recorded their honest and personal thoughts while on tour in Afghanistan this year. The display has been created by the artist Derek Eland, a former paratrooper turned artist.
