Recently re-formed Squeeze are a London-based pop band that came to prominence in the New Wave period of the late 1970s. Well known hits Cool for Cats and Up the Junction cast a wry lyrical eye over British social life.

Squeeze - the first LP I bought, from the Virgin Megastore on Market Street a year or two (!) ago.
