An evening during which Lama Jampa explains why the Buddha's teachings of wisdom and compassion are still relevant in the modern world today. Lama Jampa Thaye is internationally acclaimed as a great Buddhist master and is fully trained in the karma kagyu and sakya traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in England in 1952, he became a student of Karma Thinley Rinpoche at the age of 20 and met his other principal teacher, HH Sakya Trizin a year later. From these two teachers and a number of other masters he has received an extensive range of contemplative and philosophical teachings.
