A whodunnit comedy take on Alfred Hitchcock's original spy thriller that includes plenty of music as accompaniment to the suspense. This version is a pastiche of all things thoroughly British and of a time when only those with the right sort of accent could expect to star in films or on the stage. The hero Richard Hannay is entangled in an espionage conspiracy, complete with pencilled in moustache and devastatingly beautiful women, making room for laughs along the way.
