Hugely influential metal band from California who have been at the forefront of the thrash metal scene since the early 1980s. Their brand of extremely speedy riffs, virtuoso guitar solos and Satanic imagery has led Slayer to be considered one of the 'Big Four' of thrash metal bands alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax.

“It took a long time to get here, but we made it,” confides Slayer’s long time frontman and bassist, Tom Araya. This Manchester date has been rescheduled twice due to some major back surgery on Araya, but it’s no understatement that this is a gig that most have been itching to see for nearly a year.
