I left this show with goosepimples. It was absolutely incredible, it is a very well written piece by Richard Virgette that as a previous review said always keeps you thinking and reevaluating. Joe Sims in particular was extraordinary as the young lad in prison, it is difficult to take your eyes off of him as his performance was so compelling and accent terrific. ( I only know he is not from the USA as I congratulated him afterwards and was met by a friendly Bristolian accent which surprised me greatly!) This is an incredible show and richly deserves to do well. This was my favourite so far in a very rich field of 24:7 talent.<br />

This performance was exactly the kind of work which will make this years 24:7 live long in the memory. Rarely do you get the opportunity to watch theatre that leaves you with more questions than answers but this show set the mind racing. I was constantly torn between siding with Richard Vergette's political figure and Joe Sims "criminal" and it felt so liberating not to be spoonfed and without giving anything away the twists and turns will force me to evaluate and reevaluate the dark subtleties of right and wrong long after the curtain fell. Two simply fantastic acting performances, fantastic! I have been lucky enough to have seen a few of the 24:7 plays this year and the standard is higher than ever. It is a tribute to all involved in putting this festival on and I for one could not be happier, long may it continue. Well done to all concerned.<br />
