Always perplexing why the media want to send reviewers who patently don't like the music they are going to review... it's certainly clear that Mr Curran missed the point entirely and from what I saw the other 2,500 thought it was all quite good indeed<br /> <br /> Aside from the rather cheap digs at the artists and the hugely unoriginal musing that dance music has "monotonous beats" it seems there was no real effort to judge the event just to sneer at something he admits is beyond his comprehension<br /> <br /> Never mind, I'm sure he'll find something more worthy to review - maybe stick to artists who appeal to the over 25 age group as he doesn't appear to be able to fathom what the younger audiences enjoy<br /> <br /> As for the show - two and half hours of glowstick waving, screaming, dance music fans who knew all the songs that were performed. As well as Ultrabeat and Darren Styles... there was MC Domino, Frisco, DJ Mark Breeze, Infextious as well as support act N-Force - all making sure the audience had no time to rest as classic tracks were mixed in with current tunes.<br /> <br /> Everyone went away exhausted but happy - well apart from Shaun Curran, still no-one likes getting old eh?<br />
