Jim Cartwright

Jim Cartwright talks about his extensive writing career. He is a multi-award-winning playwright whose work has been translated into over 30 languages. He has written for film, television and radio and his stage work has been performed at The Royal National Theatre, The Royal Court Theatre, The West End of London and on Broadway amongst others. His theatre plays include; Road, Bed, Two, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Eight Miles High, Prize Night, Hard Fruit. Television and film work includes; Road, Vroom, Wedded, June, Vacuuming Completely Nude in Paradise and Strumpet. He is a Fellow of Bolton University, and a visiting professor at Salford University. His first novel, Supermarket Supermodel, was published in June, 2008 by Doubleday, an imprint of Transworld Publishers. The paperback will be available early in May, 2009.
