on my numerous visits to the morrissey / smiths night i have seen several first time visitors arrive and leave within the first 2 hours never to return !(not quite sure what they expected ! ) also do not be put off by the S & G,s exterior - it looks derelict from the outside and inside it would never win any interior design awards . however if you are a devotee this is the night for you , it is non stop smiths and morrissey interspersed by the occasional tune from pulp ,bowie , suede , new york dolls or anyone else of that ilk . the regulars are friendly as are the door and bar staff and bar prices are not unreasonable for a city centre location - i would highly recommend this night , ages of punters range from 18 (no under-age drinkers of course !) to at least 1 regular i know in their 60,s and anything else in-between . <br />
