This pub is great, consists of the bar and three other rooms, pool room, TV room and lounge with a real open fire which has been lit all winter. Decour is very nice, and the pub is clean and tidy.<br /> <br /> Steak nights Tuesday, a pint and a steak for 5 quid, and trust me it's a proper thick rib eye, cooked to perfection. Having worked in a bar myself for the past 3 years i can honestly say that the Cemetery Hotel is a very well run establishment boasting great staff who will always find time for a chat with you and will always go out of their way to assist you. Joe and Amanda (the owners) are the nicest couple, who are always there making improvements to the rooms and the bar. For all the time and effort they have spent trying to make the pub a succes they deserve to win!<br />

Perfect family pub with excellent food especially the sunday dinners! The new band nights are always a great night out and christmas at the pub was great with the big open fire which was kept on throughout the day. The games room with the pool table and dart board is good as no other local pub has one. My dad is a big fan of football and there is a TV in every room always showing the matches, so he comes in alot.<br /> <br /> This pub deserves to win and even if it doesn't it always comes first with my family!<br />

I have been coming into the cemetery hotel for almost two years now and i have to say i have yet to have a bad night in the place. The staff are always friendly and the pub always has a nice atmosphere. The special offers and themed nights are the best, especially the beach parties. Im always made to feel welcome so me and my friends continue to go there every saturday night without fail. Good luck to all staff especially the land lady Amanda, shes fantastic! :)<br />

I just want to say that I have been a regular (when I grew up in Rochdale as it is my home birth town) and not a regular (Since I moved out of Rochdale to live in London) for the past 18-19 yrs. There have been many many landlords, some nice and some not so nice, but for the past couple of years or so, the Landlady Amanda Chay of the Cemetery is the best. She is definitely a grafter and takes pride in the decorum of the pub along with her daugters. They have made this into a little family empire. The family are creative, innovative and their sheer determination for this to work is what makes the pub more special than ever. They are constantly trying new ideas base on what the customers want and whatever they try , it seems to work most of the time. The other thing about the Cem, is that the drink quality and prices are great as well as the snacks on offer, especially steak and a pint night on Tuesdays for a fiver. I mean bloody hell , clever idea. I just want to say to everyone involved in the Cem a big well done to y'all. Love, Kevin B xxxx<br />
