Since opening last September, The Ram and Shackle seems to have gone from strength to strength. The first in a line of new places which are changing the face of a previously-stale Fallowfield, the Ram has injected a sense of fun, suprise and independant thinking to the area. Whenever I go there there seems to be something different, like new art, DJs or live music.<br /> They've recently started doing italian food there, and for the (cheap) price I was surprised at how delicious (but simple) it was. I'm looking forward to the summer when the beautifully painted lorry out the front opens up for BBQs and music. Long live the Ram and Shackle!<br />

The place has a charm and character that 100 Baa Baa's could match. It's not slick, but it provides something a bit out of the ordinary and is constantly changing and getting better. Rather than just throwing money at it, The Ram and Shackle is putting on a variety of very different and diverse nights something which probably doesn't come across in the day<br />
