The Knott is an excellent old fashioned bar offering a wide selection of beers including a number of guest ales, fruit beers and the ever popular Marble brews such as Manchester bitter and Ginger Marble.<br /> <br /> The food selection is good with excellent quality. There are epicurean evenings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month when a themed banquet is a favourite amongst regulars and guests. Exceedingly good value so book early to avoid disappointment!<br /> <br /> Good selection on the juke box catering for a wide variety of musical tastes.<br /> <br /> Highly recommended.<br />

Tucked away from the bustling city centre (although, every silver lining has a cloud... it is alarmingly close to the obnoxious Deansgate Locks area), Knott bar is the place to go if you fancy a relaxed boozer with something interesting on tap.<br /> <br /> From its extensive range of local and European ales to the biggest selection of fruit beers around (they're on all the time for those of us who enjoy our ales with a touch of sweetness), Knott is a cracking spot. It gets busy and noisy at the weekends, but get early and find a good spot in the corner and you'd hardly notice is was teaming. And despite how busy it gets, there's always pretty quick service at the bar.<br /> <br /> On top of that, the food is good, honest stuff and the jukebox is top notch. Can't remember the time I heard a Wedding Present track drifting out of a pub jukebox - until I went there.<br /> <br /> Top class spot.<br />
