This was my second visit to the Mark Addy, this time for something from the Classic's menu, I enjoyed the 1/2 pound burger cooked just as I asked for while my partner chose the fish & chips served with mushy peas again a delight as the batter just melted in the mouth.<br /> The service was polite, attentive and the staffed all looked happy to be there, as on my first visit I left being very impressed with this venue and will return again perhaps for the Chistmas menu which looks great.

Went to the Mark Addy for dinner last night and was very impressed by the service, drinks and most importantly the food.<br /> <br /> The staff were all very attentive and helpful with queries that we had. We started with bull's fry with caper butter; and crispy ox tongue; followed by plaice fillets with shellfish broth; and loin of venison with dark chocolate and red cabbage.<br /> <br /> For dessert we had a selection of regional cheeses and chocolate mousse with candied ginger. The two starters and the venison were from the specials list (which all looked excellent) but the normalmenu looked good too.<br /> <br /> The wine list and selection of real ales were also a highlight.<br /> <br /> Can't wait to go back!<br />

Went to The Mark Addy for Sunday lunch yesterday, the first time I've been in since Robert Owen Brown has been cooking there. The change is incredible and not just the food, which was amazing incidently. The whole place has had the long needed facelift it deserves and looks great with good service and FOUR REAL ALES!!! Can't reccomend it enough.<br />
