Great pub with a top location and even better prices. Always packed on Sunny days and has a really cosy feel in the winter.<br /> <br /> You are guaranteed a good pint and friendly bar staff. This really completes the whole atmosphere of Exchange Square and is a welcome change to the trendier places just round the corner.<br /> <br /> Thank god the bomb didn't take this gem from us.<br />

The brewers Samuel Smiths means you can be sure of getting a well priced, decent ale. The bar tariff is possibly the cheapest in Manchester.<br /> <br /> With plenty of seating outside, this pub is always packed out on nice days. The snug and low slung ceilings fit out the downstairs and upstairs you can grab a well priced meal in the cosy surroundings.<br /> <br /> The pub is always busy on a weekend and Thursday evenings seem to draw a good crowd.<br /> <br /> Considering the pub is so old, its amazing that the whole thing was moved after the IRA bombing to make way for the redevelopment of the surrounding area.<br />
