A traditional english country pub with a curry house built in. What more could you wish for.<br /> <br /> Beers are very well kept, food is excellent and staff are helpful and very friendly, especially the landlady.<br /> <br /> My wife has a thing about the cleanliness of pub toilets but at the Bulls Head they are spotless.<br /> <br /> If you were wishing for something more, the pub also does B&B and the rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfast is to die for!!!<br />

This pub is just a beautiful surprise on a windy country lane. I sat outside with friends and was amazed at how many people stopped and chatted to each other over the garden wall. Clearly this is the locals pub of choice.<br /> <br /> Once inside the atmosphere is just what you would expect from a place that is untouched by time in the unique character it still holds, yet managed by today's high standards. I loved this pub - we were only there for a few days but chose to go back to this pub twice rather than try another. If you are in Old Glossop - head to The Bulls Head - you will not be disappointed.<br /> <br /> I did meet the landlady and she is awesome.!<br />

Traditional pub with excellent beer, excellent staf and a superb location. A definite jewel in the crown of English pubs which stands out as a beacon for what makes a pub worth visiting.<br />

The Bulls Head is by far the BEST pub in the village, Always has been and always will be, The atmosphere is excellent, the fantastic curry house complements the beers and its always a bundle of laughs, random nights of spontanious dancing are very funny and Tuesday night quizzes are entertaining to say the least, The staff, Trevor, Lucy, Melissa, Michael, John, Hollie, Luke and Elsie and Landlord Paul and Landlady Barbara are friendly and are always ready to welcome customers old and new.<br />

A good traditional pub with the added bonus of being attached to a very good curry house. Ther's always a very friendly welcome at the Bull which added to the great location makes it a great place to visit. The quiz night is something not to be missed as the landlady turns it into a comedy turn -great entertainment.<br />

Had a wonderful time here last summer. Try to visit when ever I can. Beautiful location, wonderful food, great atmosphere and the hottest landlord ever.......my husband thought the landlady was gorgeous to!! Looking forward to my next visit.<br />

My family and I visited the Bulls Head last summer. There are no words for this lovely pub. Barbara and Paul were fantastic hosts. Very friendly atmosphere. Just the kind of place to enjoy long summer evenings. Will most certainly be back again this year to enjoy a great curry, a lovely beer and fantastic company.<br />

What could you want: after good beer, lively atmosphere and friendly mine hosts? You could try floating down a superb curry in the attached restaurant........loverly!!!!!<br />
