This is one of the best and most traditional pubs in Stockport and Manchester gerneally. There is always a great atmosphere, friendly landlords and bar-staff and the food is incredible. The chips in particular are well worth trying. Arden Arm's is consistently good and I for one, highly …

If you want to enjoy a pub like pubs used to be this is the place - we use it for a drink after work most Fridays - still has typical pub atmosphere - long may it continue

The best pub there is. A proper pub, run how a pub should be run. Friendly and with fantastic food.
My family have been going there for generations. Joe and Steve are great guys.
