The Globe is a fantastic family pub, how I wish there was a pub like it in New Zealand, looking forward to more nights out in the Globe when we get back. Hope you do well in the Pub of the year, you deserve to win for all the work you have put in. Good Luck!<br />

This pub is a little jewel in the crown! Recently refurbished with cool wine bar addition. Very relaxing and atmospheric. Great family pub run by local well known family who have worked very hard to achieve what it is today. Children, dogs and horses welcome - purpose built horse trough at the back. Entertainment on Saturday nights second to none! Sunday afternoons is a great family day. Come along and see for yourself, you will be made to feel most welcome any day of the week. I will be recommending this pub to all my friends and will definitely be back!<br />

The Globe should definitely win pub of the year. It's warm and welcoming, good beer, friendly hard working staff and very relaxing and enternaining. There should be more pubs like this in the Rochdale area,<br />

Now im older enough i use the globe regular as its a top pub, friendly staff and customers. Great quiz on a thursday night not to be missed! Saturday good entertainment... WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE!!!!<br />

Hope the globe wins the pub of the year , they deserve it , The pub has been brought out of the deep to being one of the best places to go , Staff ,& customers are so friendly .Thursdays is quiz night , good fun , supper included. ,Saturday's always have a good artist on , people are coming from all over, they enjoy so much they keep returning , to my mind the landlord's & landlady's are doing something right , If you dont believe me go yourself you wont be dissopointed .<br />

The new owners have done a fantastic job of the globe, and still doing more to make the pub a brilliant place to be.It has a fantastric atmosphere, and great entertainment every Saturday.Brilliant for the football ,with three plasma tv's in the tap room.Quizz every Thursday evening, nobody takes it to serious, a good laugh and great company and best of all, supper included.A fantastic family run pub, and great bar staff. Don't know whether they still do the quiz here, but it was a farce, the guy just wondered round giving anybody looking bemused the answers, very frustrating, won't go there again<br />

this pub should win the pub of the year,it has become 1 of the best pubs in rochdale,great ales,fantastic staff,a lovely clean pub,with great entertaiment on at wkends,i have been in a lot of pubs and this pub always makes you feel welcome,the pie and pint is great,well worth a visit,a great pint of taylors real ale.<br />

We live in wolverhampton and make visits to rochdale to see our family and we always pay a visit to the Globe Inn we find it very friendly with a lovely atmosphere they also put on good entertainment on the weekends. It lovely to see a family run pub their not many around these days.<br />

The frst time I went in, the staff and locals make you feel very welcome and is a pleasure to be there!<br /> <br /> The recent addition to the pub consists of a new bar in the former butchers and 3 Plasma TV's for all the live sky sports action. There are live Acts every Saturday night and a fantastic quiz every Thursday.<br /> <br /> The Globe is the place to be!<br />

we've used this pub a lot for our work nights out a lot and find the venue friendly, welcoming and a great laugh.<br />

the first time i went in this pub ,i found the owners very welcoming and friendly,the entertaniment on saturady is the best around,a nice family run pub<br />

spent time in this pub on several occasions have been made to feel welcome and children had a great time at the fun days, made to feel part of the friendly family atmosphere, lovely well run family owned local, feels good to have a local opened again in our villlage needed for a long time<br />
