was in there in march this year (2010)<br /> <br /> <br /> and witnessed 3 stabbings and was petrified landlord seems to let who ever he wants in and has no control over them the night in question was when the edl had a march in bolton and the pub was full of skin head yobs waving flags about and ended up kicking off and 3 people ended up getting slashed/stabbed and seriously hurt the landlord had no control what soever would never ever reccomend going to this place its crazy.................<br />

Cannot find fault with this place, great staff and great Landlord, something going on every night and no matter how busy, everyone and anyone is always made to feel welcome and wanted. Weeknights you have your darts and pool nights and not forgetting a bit of toe tapping on a monday night then weekends its football during the day then party time at night. If you want a great time day or night you cant go wrong in the Oddies !!!<br />

Fantastic pub makes u feel like family as soon as u walk in very friendly always great partys beer is great n cheap to highly recommened to anyone wanting a good laugh or a quiet beer<br />

Welcome to the Oddies, A great pub just on the outskirts of Middleton town centre, friendly community pub, selling a wide range of beers aswell as Lees cask bitter. Popular sports themed bar, with plenty of memorabilia in the vault, currently renovating the gents toilets, after completing the ladies, probably the nicest toilets around now. Great atmosphere on football days, especially both the Manchester teams, but will show any game on the big screens and various plasmas, Oh and not to forget the "free pies" at half time, Looks like the only venue in Middleton to have 3D football...(comin soon, first game in April) Plenty of regulars aswell as first time visitors that have been reccomended to this pub, Monday night is folk night, very popular entertaining evening, and also ladies darts, Wednesday is pool night, Thursday is pool and darts night, then let the weekend begin..Big effort is made for St. Pats day and St. Georges day, Will be the place to be for the World Cup this year. Always decked out for these events, massive Halloween party was organised and was a great success, kids halloween and Christmas partys went down a treat aswell, All in all a great little pub with a huge atmosphere, Beer is always spot on and kept to a minimum, dark mild only
