Evuna hails the kings of Leon
EVUNA’S latest wine tasting will explore the Spanish region of Castile and Leon.
Home of the famous Vega Sicillia, Ribera del duero produces more full-bodied reds than nearby Rioja.
The wines available to taste will be from Bodegas Vizar, a modern vineyard located on the Duero River, which blends merlot and syrah grapes with local varieties.
Vizar’s winemaker will be at the Deansgate bar and restaurant to give tasting guidance.
Tapas from the region will also be served at the tasting on Wednesday, April 1, from 6pm to 9pm.
The cost for tapas and tasting up to 10 wines is £25.
