A typical Soup Kitchen offering!

1 / 1 imagesA typical Soup Kitchen offering!

FOLLOWING two previously successful events, popular Northern Quarter eatery Soup Kitchen is to hold its third ‘Wine & Dine’ evening on June 27.

Those who relish only paying a student-friendly £3 for their lunch will have to dig a little deeper for this gourmet offering however as head chef, Gareth Phillips, plans to showcase his talents with a delectable three course meal accompanied by several glasses of grape based refreshments.

(By that of course, we mean wine, not Welch's).

A quick glance at the menu and you would be forgiven for thinking you were dining at the likes of Abode.  Fennel and potato fondants, slow cooked belly of pork and rose-petal shortbread are only a few of the mouth-watering examples to choose from.

Now steel yourself for the price….

A wallet friendly £22.50.

Delightful.
