A FIRM which has trained catering teams on oil rigs in Kazakhstan, a company that produces 28 tonnes of black pudding each week, a Japanese eaterie chain and a preserve maker behind the first ever National Jam Week are among Greater Manchester-based businesses shortlisted for the prestigious Food Northwest Awards 2009.
Wigan-based Advanced Food Safety, the Bury Black Pudding Company, New Samsi and Clippy’s Apples of Sale will discover if they have won their respective categories at a Gala Awards dinner, hosted by Lucy Meacock, on Thursday, June 25, at Manchester’s Hilton hotel.
