A RELATIVELY new addition to the Northern Quarter, cocktail bar-meets-Asian eatery Walrus ticks all the right (bento) boxes to make it a perennial favourite.
On Wednesday, November 26, Walrus will host The Fifth Sense Tasting Session: a celebration of Oriental food and wine.
Guests will enjoy a selection of delicious and innovative Japanese-Thai dishes, each flavour enhanced with a wine chosen by their very own wine master who will be on hand to explain his selections.
The menu includes Thai and Chinese Prawn Crackers, 3-Flavour Fish, Black Pepper Ribs, Wasabi peas, Papya Som Tan Salad, Slow-braised Beef and a Lemon and Lime Citrus Tart.
Tickets £28. Discounts available for bookings of 4 or more. Call Nim or Kate on 07773016539 for details, or visitwww.walrusmanchester.com

Stumbled across this place by accident a few months ago. Interesting decor and drinks menu. Would recommend it.
