I was amazed at how GREAT my evening was at The Swinging Bridge pub. I work in customer services and was very impressed at the service and staff.
The food was cooked fresh and delicious and every person who I came in contact with was friendly and polite.

What could you want: after good beer, lively atmosphere and friendly mine hosts? You could try floating down a superb curry in the attached restaurant........loverly!!!!!

One of the things I love about this pub is the effort they make with the decorations to celebrate events. I've even used the bin bag idea for one of my own halloween parties ;o)

The Sanctuary arrived in Didsbury last September with an attractive frontage smack bang in the middle of the action on Wilmslow Road. Sitting somewhere between gastro pub and mid-market bar, it’s a new name on the high street for chain giant Barracuda Group, and usurps their former operation, Varsity.

If there is any pub that truly deserves the pub of the year award it is The Bulls Head! In their first season they were awarded the pub of the season, presented by Camra (So it isn't just me that thinks it).
The food, the beer and the service cannot be compared to any in the area! I cannot rave ...

An institution in itself, the whiskey/whisky/bourbon selection, the drama of the difficult monthly quiz, the jam-packed-ness on a Friday after work.
Somewhere everyone visiting Manchester should go to, I always take tourists here, and have had far too many Cumberland (Jennings) myself on more than one...
