If you like your pubs rough and ready then this is the place for you. I recently visited this place with an old friend who hadn't been to Manchester in years. He instantly fell in love with the place as it's a great example of what all pubs used to be like before Manchester had it's extensive make over. I remember my Dad taking me into many pubs just like this as I grew up and although it's good to embrace the modern, it'll always be necessary to have at least some souvenirs from these era.
