HISTORY has been made several times with beer. This times it’s Morrisons’ turn. Winning two awards at the Quality Drinks Awards which was held on Friday June 26, Morrisons own label Green Hop Beer has been officially recognised.

Produced from the first of the season’s hop harvest and combined with the best of the season’s malt, green hops are added to the brew within 24 hours of being harvested.

As Graeme Littlewood, Morrisons Beer Buyer remarks, this is most definitely an “exclusive range,” giving their customers “something a little bit different.” With Morrisons Chestnut beer also short-listed, Morrisons’ beers are at the top of their league.

Winning The Platinum Q Award, the Green Hop Beer has been acknowledged as the best of the best. The first time a beer has ever won this highly-respected accolade, Morrisons truly has made history.

Available throughout stores in September, and only £1.59 for 500ml, Morrisons Green Hop Beer is sure to tempt many.
