FOR ale fans, having the chance to brew your own might sound like a fantastic idea. Having the chance to brew your own ale which is then distributed among over 170 pubs would probably sounds even better.

And as for topping that off with an overnight stay with your chosen other at the traditional Batemans Cottage in Skegness? Likely not too far from perfection.

For Michelle Martin from Warrington, that has all come true. Having won the opportunity to brew her own ale which will be sold in Ember Inns nationwide, the name she gave her ale, Taste Of Heaven reflects her experience of enjoying ale.

That’s something she wants other people to be able to do, those who are uninitiated to ale-drinking included. Michelle says she ‘can’t wait to see other locals sampling a pint’, and is keen to create a flavour which will appeal to those who don’t usually choose ale.

The limited edition Taste Of Heaven will go on sale in all Ember Inns across the country from July 9.

See the link on the right to find out more information, including where you can sample the fruits of Michelle’s efforts.
