MANCHESTER’S Hydes Brewery has launched the fourth of its 2009 craft ales – Golden Find.

The Brewery’s 2009 Craft Ale range comprises six distinctive ales all produced under the headline, Great Beers To Discover.

Each is based round the discoverer of new lands – Golden Find, the summer ale, available in July and August, shows the great Elizabethan sailor and navigator, Sir Francis Drake, the first English Man to circumnavigate the globe.

Golden Find is a summer beer, golden in colour and with a zesty citrus taste with an abv of 4.1 per cent. It is made with Tipple and pale Ale malts and Challenger, Fuggle and Styrian Goldings hops.

David Safiruddin, Hydes marketing director, said: “This is our 10th year of producing an annual craft ale range and we have seen sales continue to grow by an impressive 25 per cent year on year – fantastic news for the Brewery, especially in such challenging times.”
