CITYLIFE has great hopes for the newly revamped Horse and Jockey on Chorlton Green.

The ubiquitous Paul Astill, of Cord, Apotheka and Circle Club fame, has redesigned the boozer and the aim is to produce a contemporary pub with fine wine, cask ale and food that is ‘not a gastropub’.
