HEATON NORRIS pub The Nursery Inn is to host a beer festival, starting this Thursday (November 6). The headlining ale will be the Hydes pub's own special brew, Nursery Nectar - with a rather grown-up strength of 6.5%.
The festival will run until Sunday (November 9) and features a total of ten cask ales, including Hydes Original, Mauldron’s Autumn Gold, Wyre’s Piddle All Over and Brain’s SA.
“We’re really looking forward to running our first beer festival and we know our customers are ready to try out all the different beers," says licensee Simon Wetton.
"We’ve got a great weekend lined up with live music on Saturday and Sunday night, and a special hog roast on Saturday.”
Hog roast: Saturday, November 8; 12pm. Free entry to the festival.
