FROM the gleaming to the slightly grubby, here are CityLife's top five bars for lavatory lovers:
Temple Of Convenience, Great Bridgwater Street, Manchester – Converted underground facilities – ironically the loos aren’t the best.
Cloud 23, Beetham Tower, Deansgate, Manchester – Fantastic vistas let you look down across the city while standing at the urinal.
Baa Bar, Deansgate Locks, Whitworth Sreet West Manchester – Unisex facilties but a far cry from squeaky clean Ally McBeal.
Frog & Bucket Inn, 102 Oldham Street, Manchester – Expect the odd bit of toilet humour at the top comedy venue.
Room, 81 King Street, Manchester - Spectacular bar with possibly the most beautiful facilities in the city.
Any more suggestions? Let us know your thoughts.

Loos in bars in town are generally a disgrace in run of the mill places. It is "Chavville" at weekends. What type of places do this lot live in? Give me a night out in Leeds any time and I live here....

It's a shame the Castle Hotel has closed down, it surely had the greatest bogs in all of Manchester

Room is rapidly taking over from Cloud 23, The Living Room and Sugar Lounge as the most spectacular bar in Manchester, will Panacea be next?
