I could not agree more with the last review it is the only honest one I have seen on the web, I went with my sister brother in law my husband and our son and his friend our ages range from 64 to 20 we all felt he was well below par, none of us belly laughed some smiling and a snigger here and there but if felt more like a history lesson ! sorry to say that my husband dropped off to sleep and he was not the 64 year old.The woman in the row behind us wearing a very sparkly top announced she had just booked tickets for strictly belly laughed at everything Eddie said even Hello ! but even she could not manage to keep my husband awake.

I could not agree more about the Palace Hotel I went there to a "doo" and the food was terrible and thats saying something as I will eat anything except fish!, What about Jem&I in Didsbury truly excellent and the chef owns it so a vested interest good food and service, The Midland is a good choice the colony restaurant is really good, good luck to all nominated I also note the Palace has not been nominated.
