Only Bill Gates..... what about the nerdettes. A particularity important women is this context is Mary Lee Woods, (Mrs C M Berners-Lee (born 12 March 1924) who is still with us, and of course the mother of Sir Tim Berners-Lee the inventor the World Wide Web). She worked on the programming of Ferranti Mark One for Ferranti and the University. There are of course other people alive who worked on the project and I hope MoSI is involving them too.

I wish the rink better luck that the Manchester Food Festival who found the site rather less successful in getting foodies to come and chefs not to withdraw from the demo tent . The old retailing rule applies ...footfall is all. ! I also hope the rink will be better designed this year for access to skaters and spectators alike including disabled customers.
