McFly

Mandy Shuttleworth wrote: 3 years 6 months

This was my 4th time seeing McFly, I'm 40 and yes, I do take my 2 girls, who are now 14 and 11!! But this time I got to sit with a friend rather than my kids, so I could jump up and down like a loon rather than behave myself and not embarrass them!! McFly are under-rated, they perform fantastically, give their all to the crowd and I've never been let down by them. If your 13 year old daughter has 'outgrown' them, she needs a serious talking to!! Its great to see a young band who write their own material, play their own instruments, have a great time and give so much to their fans who give so much for them. Too much music in the charts now is sampled etc and McFly are like a breath of fresh air - keep it up boys!! Manchester love you!! Great atmosphere too, only downside are the jobsworths in the yellow t-shirts at the MEN - you know who you are!! Long may McFly reign - cos my life won't be worth a carrot if they don't ...... 2 teenage girls at home who worship them ..... aarrgghh!!

Michael Buble

What can I say? Mr Buble, you are a walking, talking, singing legend!! Just a brilliant showman, entertaining and engaged brilliantly with the crowd. Took my 2 teenage daughters and they loved it too, he has appeal across all age groups and genders. Its great to hear someone who can sing so beautifully, backed by a fantastic band, in comparison to the durge we find in the charts these days. He said he would come back and play manchester a thousand times & I for one would welcome him back a thousand and one!!!
