Silence to fall over K2 club night
IT’S been one of the unlikely success stories of summer festivals like Glastonbury, and now one of the most unusual clubbing phenomena - the silent disco - is coming to Manchester.
Organised by Smirnoff Original Nights: take a room full of clubbers, give them each a pair of dual-channel digital headphones, add in four DJs – including former Prodigy dancer Leeroy Thornhill and Reverend & The Makers Joe Moskow - and you’ve got a potentially talked about clubbing experience.
Owned by a group of Dutch entrepreneurs, the silent disco concept does what it says on the tin - provides a new way of enjoying music ‘silently’.
Smirnoff Original Nights will be hosting Silent Disco at Manchester Metropolitans Student Union K2 venue on Thursday, November 20. 9pm - 2am. £4.
