SUBTERRANEAN Newton Street hangout The Roadhouse have confirmed a brand new monthly club night.
Set to take place on the second Friday of every month the promoters are promising Takin’ Over will be a classic Manchester melee following in the footsteps of city institutions Electric Chair and Mr Scruff’s Keep It Unreal.
Martin Brew (J Walk), Darren Laws (Fat City) and Peter Jay (Nish, Nash, Nosh) will lead from the front delivering a party-minded mixture of soul, funk, disco, jazz, reggae and owt else the chaps feel like at the time.
Takin’ Over launches at The Roadhouse on Friday, November 14. £5.
