THOUSANDS of screaming fans and girls throwing their bras on to the stage could mean only one thing. The UK's biggest boy-band of the moment, JLS, were in town.

As video footage of the four Brit nominated lads illuminated Manchester's Apollo stage, the audience went crazy, with many of the teenage girls completely unable to contain themselves.

JB, Marvin, Aston and Oritse performed a fast moving, perfectly co-ordinated routine to a number of fast and slow tempo tracks.

Every teenage girl in the 2700 audience knew every word to every song. And as the London born quartet, performed their number one single Beat Again, an over enthusiastic teen threw her bra on to the stage.

Appearing completely unphased the boys finished the song and thanked Manchester for their warm welcome.

As Marvin strutted across the stage he stopped at the bra and shouted: “Well, this is an interesting piece.”

JLS - the name a shortened version of 'Jack The Lad Swing' - were runners up in the fifth series of ITV reality show The X Factor.

Screams

Their début album, released in November 2009, has sold more than 900,000 copies - outselling X Factor winner Alexandra Burke two to one.

During the sell out show the boys made four young girls dreams come true by handing out single red roses.

A number of quick and smooth costume changes kept an already appreciative audience happy.

And the numerous quick flashes of toned and muscle ripped torso never failed to attract more screams.

At the end of the concert the JLS boys confirmed they world be returning in December 2010 to the Manchester Evening News Arena.

They asked their adoring fans to vote to help them win the Brit award for best single and if this gig is anything to go off the award is already theirs.

The boys were supported at the show by up and coming r'n'b singer Stevie Hoang.

He performed a number of original tracks and followed them up with a couple of popular covers.

His début album No Coming Back is out on March 8, 2010 - and is tipped to be a mixture of r'n'b styles similar to Neyo.
