SINCE she lost her mother Sophie (Jo Mousley), Jessica (Lowri Evans) has been trying to make sense of her life and imagining what her father Darren (Ste Myott) might be like.

But what will she think when she eventually finds out about them and their lives together?

Full of references to Tony Wilson, Morrissey, the Hacienda, Ian Brown and even Gary Barlow, with a soundtrack of Manchester classics, Jason Crouch’s appealing, tough-edged drama is very much a made in Manchester project, shot through with sweet and tender regret for the days of chemical romance and ecstatic dancing.
