Big Value Thursdays combine established comedians with a couple of relatively new acts.
The result is a wonderfully random night of comedy, definitely more hit than miss.
There’s a theatrical vibe in this darkened venue that builds the anticipation as pictures of the Frog’s famous alumni flash up on a screen.
Seating is at individual tables around the stage, so I’d book in advance not to miss out.
This week Rob Riley provided a great take on internet dating, plus a special note must go to Alex Boardman for his commendable appreciation of Bob the Builder…. Mind you, comedian Duncan Oakley may have ruined Eric Clapton’s ‘You Look Wonderful Tonight’ for me forever. In a good way!
If you’re looking for a fun frolic of an evening on a budget then this could be just the ticket.
