Oasis - Let There Be Love (Big Brother)
ALL this talk of piano-led ballad Let There Be Love being one of the clear highlights of latest album Don't Believe the Truth is utter tosh. Don't believe a word of it.
Touted as classic Oasis, it is in fact a plodding misfire.
Once again robbing John Lennon's grave for lyrical inspiration, Noel has forged something not unlike, but not a patch on, the unjustly maligned Beatles comeback Free as a Bird.
His band has taken more knocks even than Mike Tyson in recent years. Maybe they should consider following him into retirement.
