HAILING form Llanberis in North Wales, The Heights offer an unusual yet refreshing approach to their music - like Maximo Park in a face-off with Bruce Springsteen é things were never going to be simple.
Delivered with a superb rough edge - Bad News oozes energy. However, occasionally things get a little crowded as the riffing borderlines on being overbold and a little too busy.
Owen Ginsbergés vocal helps compensate - providing enough rock and roll punch to nail the equation. Jamaica Beer Eyes offers the EPés muscle making this spiky offering well worth pursuing.
