Kasabian - Empire (Paradise)

WHETHER ités the Roman, British or the local Chinese takeaway, Kasabian so electrifying refer to in their new single Empire only they will know but the cries of 'Stop! We are all wasting away!', sees Tom Meighan being somewhat economical with the truth.

Far from Kasabian disappearing in a puff of smoke they have in fact produced their most meat zappingly brilliant piece of work to date, a slowly building beast with dubbed up bass, deathly Dr. Who like synths and possessed violins.

The quartet easily fill the gap between fuzz and indie as they move effortlessly between Britpop verse and glam rock death chorus and the signs are there that their forthcoming album of the same name could be Dalek on a stair lift, mind bending, ultrasonic and unstoppable.
