Octagon showcase for the best of the festival

THIS year's 24:7 Theatre Festival was a huge success, doing such record-breaking business that many shows sold out and extra performances had to be added.

In fact, three of the shows, chosen from a combination of audience feedback and input from critics and other 'experts', are making a swift return, with Bolton Octagon staging a Best Of The 24:7 Theatre Festival event on September 6 and 7.

Three shows - Canaveral's Lurch, The Judgement Of Mr Jenkins and Vegetable - will all be staged each night. David Slack, Director of 24:7 Theatre Festival, said, "Following on from our most successful festival yet, 24:7 is proud to promote these three plays at the Octagon.

"You'll laugh, cry and gasp in horror as each story unfolds before your eyes. We are proud to be associated with this scintillating selection of creative talent."
