Barney's on his way!

KIDS' favourite Barney is heading for the M.E.N..

The purple dinosaur who stars in a US TV series that is shown in the UK on Channel Five is performing at the MEN Arena on June 25, 26 and 27 next year.

Barney's tour will be his first string of UK arena shows for six years. He will also be appearing in London, Glasgow, Cardiff and Dublin.

His live show, Barney's Colourful World, will start in the park setting for his TV series before going to jungles, the icy Arctic, a sunny beach and even underwater.

It will feature 28 songs as well as his best friend BJ, his sister Baby Bop and British children who have yet to be cast.

Tickets go on sale for the shows from Monday (November 24). They cost £10, £12.50, £15 and £18, with family tickets also available. Tickets are available by visiting the box office or by calling 0870 060 1768. Group bookings can be arranged by phoning 0870 1696888.
