Dodd tickles his way into Oldham season

COMEDIAN Ken Dodd has been left tickled pink after staff at Oldham Coliseum changed their entire winter schedule to book a night of his new tour.

I hear that Ken got in touch with the Oldham theatre to ask whether he could make an appearance on what he says is one of his favourite stages.

Rachael McIntyre, Press and PR Manager at The Coliseum, says, "Our Autumn/Winter season was finalised months ago, but we couldn't possibly say no to the likes of Ken. He's a favourite with our audience and it's always a pleasure to have him here."

The 79-year-old comedy star will bring his Happiness Show, and no doubt his tickling stick, to Oldham on January 23.
