Sue goes solo for Lowry show
SUE Perkins, one half of the deadly comedic duo Mel and Sue, arrives at The Lowry on May 12 for a stand-up set.
The dry and inventive comic writer will provide witticisms around such imaginative topics as the prototype of the Pentagonés éGay Bombé and why it is imperative a badger should be kept in the fridge.
Welcome
Sue performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival in summer 2005 to a welcome reception and pleased the critics.
It was the first time she performed solo since splitting from her comedy partner Mel Giedroyc after 17 years of working together.
