Take That to see in 2008

TAKE That are to end their comeback year with a TV show welcoming in 2008.

The band are to front a live New Year's Eve show for ITV, from the O2 Arena, in London.

They will top an all-star guest list with the Sugababes also performing.

The band are confident Howard Barlow will have recovered in time to take part in the show. He had to pull out of their Beautiful World tour after he punctured a lung doing a stage backflip last month.

Their single Rule the World is currently at Number Two in the charts - it was piped to number one by ex-factor winner Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love.
