Girls Aloud set for city return

FOLLOWING their special set to mark the re-birth of the Arndale Centre pop sensations Girls Aloud will play the M.E.N. Arena on May 27.

Tickets are still on sale for the concert, which will feature titles from the girls' new album, Biology.

The feisty five - Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Tweedy, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts - were recently in Manchester alongside G4 and Lemar to play a competition winners only event at the city's shopping centre.  

Stardom

Since 2002, when they were propelled to stardom by TV viewers, the girls have proved early sceptics wrong by building up a massive following.
