Oasis boys crack a smile

OASIS frontman Liam Gallagher couldn't resist a simle in London last night when the band from Burnage picked up an award for thier success over the last ten years.

It would certainly seem Liam, brother Noel and the fellow Oasis lads have a lot to smile about, as their single, Lyla, is currently top of the charts and they have collected their awards for the Most Successful Band Of The Last Decade, according to the Guinness Book of British Hit Singles And Albums.

And it looks like age seems to have mellowed the former rock `n' roll hellraisers.

"Liam had a rant about people throwing bottles of beer at the stage, but that was about it," a source reported.

"They are seemingly well-behaved these days."
